You were trained to care for people.
Not to grow a practice alone.

Marketing and business advisory

for independent healthcare practices.

what you may be feeling

Your practice is evolving. Your business and marketing strategy should, too.

Marketing matters. But for independent healthcare practices, marketing works best when it is aligned with the business model, offers, patient experience, team capacity, and the kind of growth you actually want.

That is where Three Stones comes in ... helping you clarify what is changing, what needs to be explained differently, and which business and marketing decisions deserve your attention now.

  • Your practice has changed, but your message or website has not fully caught up.

  • You offer high-value care, but the value may not be easy to explain before someone books.

  • You are considering new services, offers, audiences, or growth opportunities and want a clearer strategy before moving forward.

  • You want your marketing, operations, patient experience, and business model to support each other.

  • You want growth that reflects your values, capacity, and the practice you are actually building.

HOW THREE STONES HELPS

Clarity before more tactics.

Three Stones helps independent healthcare practice owners look at the full picture before investing more time, money, or energy in the next tactic. Together, we connect your business model, offers, patient experience, messaging, and growth priorities so your marketing supports the practice you are actually building.

  • Diagnose the business question behind the marketing question.
  • Clarify your message, audience, offers, and business priorities.
  • Decide what deserves your attention now.
  • Focus your marketing around the right-fit patients and opportunities.
  • Move with a practical plan you and your team can actually use.

Most clients begin with a simple intro call. From there, we may move into Marketing Triage to clarify

what is really needed before deciding whether a deeper strategic retreat makes sense.

How We Can Work Together

Start with a Call

Step 1

A no-pressure 20-minute conversation to talk through where your practice is now, what you are considering, and whether Three Stones is the right next step.

Step 2

Marketing Triage

A focused diagnostic to identify the business question behind the marketing question before you invest more time, money, or energy in the next tactic.

Step 3

Direction & Decision Retreat

A half-day strategic retreat to clarify your positioning, offers, messaging, and business priorities so you can move forward with a more aligned path.

Not sure where to begin? Let’s start with a 20-minute intro call.

About Amy

I’m Amy Cain Sousa, founder of Three Stones Advisory and a senior marketing advisor with decades of experience in healthcare marketing, communications, and business strategy.

I’ve worked inside hospitals and health systems, advised C-suite and senior leaders, continued that work as a consultant, and supported small business owners through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

That combination helps me see what many independent healthcare practices need now: business clarity, sharper positioning, better-aligned marketing, and decisions that support the practice they are actually building.

Client Reflections

A few reflections from clients and collaborators who have experienced what it feels like to clarify the business beneath the marketing — and make stronger decisions about message, offers, priorities, and next steps.

“Working with Amy fundamentally changed how I understand and talk about my work, bringing it into alignment with my whole self and the work I’m here to do. She approaches every session with sincerity and curiosity. Her superpower is asking the right questions, listening deeply, and reflecting your work back in a way that clarifies the human need it serves.”

— Samantha Bounkeua, Rogue Violin

“Before we started working together I was stuck in things trying to be perfect before being able to start, and didn't feel like I had things ‘together’ enough to begin. You encouraged me that I did have things together enough and then helped me with where to begin.”

— Sydney, Sydney Davis Acupuncture + Wellness

“Her attention to detail and thoroughness of assessment and strategy are very impressive.”

— Larry Hebert
